LTTS clinches monumental $100 million cybersecurity deal.

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has secured a significant program valued at approximately $100 million in the field of cybersecurity.

LTTS will establish a state-of-the-art Cybersecurity & Digital Threat Analytics Centre in partnership with Maharashtra Cyber, aimed at enhancing citizen cyber safety and awareness.

The contract, a first-of-its-kind in India, awarded by the Maharashtra State Cyber Department, under the Government of Maharashtra, underscores LTTS’ dedication to developing secure and digitally connected smart cities through comprehensive Cyber Security and Digital Forensic solutions.

In collaboration with M/s KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP, LTTS will deliver advanced Cyber Security Solutions to bolster public safety against cyber threats in Maharashtra.

The initiative encompasses the design of an advanced cybersecurity system and the establishment of a sophisticated Cyber Security and Cybercrime prevention Centre. This Centre will utilize AI and Digital Forensic tools for addressing Cybercrime Incidents and Investigations effectively.

Key components of the program include a Digital Threat Analytics Centre (DTAC) paired with a Centre of Excellence (COE), equipped with cutting-edge digital forensic tools. These tools cover various aspects such as Deepfake detection, Mobile Malware forensics, IoT investigation, Network forensics, and more, aimed at enhancing crime scene management and expediting cybercrime investigations.

Additionally, the project includes the formation of a Central Emergency Response Team (CERT) for incident response and investigation based on advanced cyber threat intelligence and analytics.

Furthermore, the initiative involves the establishment of a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC) fortified by AI & ML technologies. This SOC will be manned by a skilled cyber team to protect critical infrastructure by handling various security solutions.

The integration of Smart World and Communication within LTTS has significantly enhanced its capabilities, enabling the company to provide advanced engineering solutions for public cyber safety.
