— The NC State Wolfpack men's basketball team looks to continue its winning ways Friday night in its ACC Tournament semifinal game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

Tip-off between No. 10 seed NC State and third-seeded Virginia is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET Friday. It follows North Carolina and Pittsburgh. The game airs on ESPN2.

NC State (20-14, 12-11 ACC) has won three straight games, including Thursday night's 74-69 upset of No. 2 seed Duke.

Five NC State players scored in double figures on Thursday, led by DJ Horne, who had 18 points. Horne did not start the game as he returns from a hip injury that kept him out of the Wolfpack's tournament opener. Horne is the Wolfpack's leading scorer at 16.8 points per game.

The Wolfpack entered the tournament having lost four straight games, but coach Kevin Keatts' squad has played some of its best basketball in Washington, D.C.

This year marks the first time NC State has reached the ACC Tournament semifinals since 2014. NC State became the first double-digit seed to advance three rounds at the tournament since 2007.

The Wolfpack needs two more wins for its first conference tournament title since 1987.

NC State is 17-18 overall in the ACC Tournament semifinals.

Virginia (23-9, 14-7 ACC) beat Boston College 66-60 on Thursday in overtime. The Cavaliers' leading scorer, Reece Beekman (14.2 points per game) had 11 points and 11 assists in the win.
