The actor Vasanth ravi, who played Rajini's son in the movie Jailer, took to social media to voice his surprise and dissatisfaction and to criticize jio Studios for not getting in touch with the cast and crew who put a lot of effort into the movie.

He underlined how crucial it is to update the team on these choices. Even while the producer has the last say over commercial matters, ravi emphasized that the artists involved must be informed. jio Studios has yet to comment on Ravi's assertion. This surprising turn of events deviates from the conventional tamil film release schedule, favoring television above cinemas and over-the-top (OTT) platforms.
