The Energy minister launched the scheme in Kanwas of Sangod assembly constituency. He said that under the scheme, every house will have solar plants, every house will become electricity producer. This will save the families' expenditure on electricity and will make the families financially strong. At the same time, there will be adequate and quality availability of energy. The Energy minister said that surya Ghar Yojana will also increase employment opportunities in the area and the area will be prosperous. This initiative will also help in environmental balance. The Energy minister said that in this way Sangod will become a model for the entire state.

He informed that surya Ghar Yojana will be implemented in Sangod assembly constituency in collaboration with rajasthan Solar Association in one year. The Energy minister said that under the Kusum C scheme, power generation and transmission can be done by installing solar plants on farmer's land near GSS. He told that recently for power strengthening, MoUs worth Rs. 1.60 thousand crore have been signed by the state government for the production of 33 thousand mega watt electricity, targeting the next 20 years. With such efforts, the state will become surplus in electricity production and will provide electricity to other states and become a model state.

Sangod in rajasthan under pilot project

He said that the state government has promised that the farmers will get 8 hours of electricity, that too during the day so that the farmers do not have to work in the fields during the harsh winter nights. The Energy minister said that the government is also committed to provide water to every field and tap water to every house. President of rajasthan Solar Association, sunil Bansal said that Sangod, Pushkar and Phalodi in rajasthan have been included in the areas selected as pilot projects under PM surya Ghar Yojana in the country, in which Sangod has become the first town to take this initiative. . He told that by setting up an office of the association in the area, awareness activities will be conducted soon and the villagers will be motivated to install solar plants on their rooftops by telling them the benefits and importance of solar energy.
