UFC Fight Night 239 LIVE: UK start time, fight card and how to follow as ‘Shoey Guy’ Tuivasa bids to halt losing streak

UFC fan favourite Tai Tuivasa will desperately bid to end his losing streak against heavyweight contender Marcin Tybura this weekend.

'Bam Bam' is one of the most popular fighters in MMA but has seen his career take a hit following three straight defeats.

Since 2018, the Aussie has coined the nickname ‘Shoeyvasa’ by celebrating his wins inside the cage by swigging beer from a shoe.

During that run, Tuivasa had racked up five consecutive wins but Ciryl Gane, Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov have all finished him.

Tuivasa (15-6), who has slipped to ninth in UFC's heavyweight rankings, will now face the man who is one spot below him.

Polish Tybura (24-8) has also lost to Volkov, with his only other defeat in his last nine coming against Brit interim champion Tom Aspinall.
