SSWSC sends 15 to Freestyle Moguls Junior National Championships

Fifteen Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Moguls Athletes are competing this weekend in the 2024 Freestyle Moguls Junior National Championships in Park City, Utah.

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club’s moguls program has qualified fifteen for the 2024 Freestyle Moguls Junior National Championships in Park City, Utah, this week. 

Competing in the single and dual moguls events and representing Steamboat Springs will be Jackson True, Finley Fontaine, Gigi Lobeck, Lyllah Miller, Anouk Bradley, Claire Boyle, Reise Wilson, Mia Satkiewicz, Abrianna Gordon, Izzy Powell, Anabel Ayad, Griffin Harvey, Scott Kane, Shane Mariano and Liam Siefken. 

The Rocky Mountain Freestyle Divisional Championships were hosted in Telluride last weekend with around 100 mogul athletes across Colorado competing. True managed to win the singles event with a Cork Japan and Tatar-Brown took the duals with a Cork Truck. For the girls, Ayad earned silver in singles while Powell took fifth. 



The junior national competition began Friday evening and will run through Sunday night.
