USA Nordic announced Wednesday the resignation of the organization’s CEO, Adam Provost, who stepped down from his role after two years.
Since taking over as CEO on Aug. 8, 2022, Provost has helped organize a collaborative partnership with the Norwegian Federation for ski jumping and Nordic combined, which helped lead to the best team finishes in decades for both the men’s and women’s programs.
Under Provost, the U.S. also hosted its first ski jumping World Cup in more than three decades in Lake Placid, New York, in 2022 and again in 2023.
USA Nordic has named its board member and former U.S. Ski and Snowboard Alpine Committee chairman Darryl Landstrom as interim CEO during the transition period. The organization is home to 11 athletes with ties to Steamboat Springs.
