Interested applicants have until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 5 to submit their applications

The town of Eagle is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on its Open Space and Recreation Advisory Committee. The volunteer committee advises the Town Council on the future of the town’s open space and trail initiatives. The board meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Eagle Town Hall.

The available position is for an alternate member, serving the term from June 2024 to December 2024 and eligible for reappointment for a subsequent four-year term. Interested applicants must submit their applications by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 5. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be residents of the town of Eagle, property or business owners within the town, or employed within the town limits.

Eagle’s Open Space and Recreation Advisory Committee provides expertise to the Eagle Town Council and town manager, contributing to the enhancement and facilitation of open space and recreation initiatives. Committee members serve as a link between the town, residents, stakeholders and the broader community and are tasked with expanding and improving both internal and adjacent open space and recreation opportunities. All these efforts align with the town’s dedication to conservation, social responsibility and environmental objectives.
