Get ready, all you spiceheads out there. It's finally time to ride a sandworm to your local theater for Dune: Part Two, the epic sequel to the Timotheé Chalamet-starring sci-fi epic. Director Denis Villeneuve has gifted audiences a nearly three-hour journey that marks just the second entry of a planned trilogy. The new film boasts an expanded role for Zendaya, as well as a bevy of newcomers including Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Dune: Part Two will continue to follow Paul Atreides (Chalamet) through the deserts of Arakkis, now living amongst the Fremen and Chani (Zendaya). The group plans to take their home back from House Harkonnen—even if that means all-out war. To aid them, Atreides will need to learn how to ride a sandworm—which is clearly more difficult than evading them with wiggly dance moves. He'll ride actual massive sandworms that live under the sands of Arrakis. CGI, He'll also fight Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Butler), the successor to House Harkonnen, in a much-anticipated duel.

When Will Dune: Part Two Come to Streaming?

Dune: Part Two will eventually stream on Max, but can you really wait that long? According to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Dune: Part Two will debut on Max sometime in the spring, but he didn't give an official release date. Films typically release on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms (Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV+, and YouTube, among others) after 45 days in theaters. If Dune: Part Two doesn't extend its theatrical release window, audiences can expect to see the big-budget sequel from their home televisions as soon as April 15, 2024. Still, I wouldn't bet on catching Dune: Part Two at home so early. Why wait? It's in theaters right now!
