Arsenal players have debunked myths about Ben White after he signed a new contract with the club.

In announcing the news that White has signed a new deal which runs until 2028, Arsenal released a video of them asking his teammates what they think about him.

It made for wholesome viewing as a common myth about the defender not caring too much about football was debunked and his teammates insisted he loves being with the team and would do anything for them.

In a collection of clips gathered from players such as captain Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, Jorginho, Aaron Ramsdale and Gabriel Martinelli, they said: "I can't really explain him.

"It takes a while to know him. I think when you look at him from the outside, you might think that he's someone who doesn't celebrate and he's not happy, don't care too much.

"He's a bit mysterious but he's one of the guy who cares the most about the team, about his teammates. Every team would love to have a Ben White in their team.
