Last week, when asked about Thackeray's offer to nitin gadkari to contest the elections as an opposition candidate, maharashtra Deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis had mocked the shiv sena (UBT) chief. He said that it is like a person on the street offering to make someone the President of America. devendra fadnavis had said that nitin gadkari is an important leader of bjp but maharashtra seats are not there in the first list because the talks on seat sharing between the party and its allies have not been completed yet.
