Fred David, 87 died on March 7, 2024, at his home in Hillsboro, KS.
A Celebration of Life service will be on March 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Durham officiated by Pastor Craig Rankin.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on March 18, 2024, at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorials can be given to First Baptist Church in care of Jost Funeral Home at P.O. Box 266 in Hillsboro, KS 67063.
He was born on July 1, 1936, on the family farm 3 1/2 miles south of Tampa, KS to Otto and Miriam (Reuscher) David. He married Doris Dalke on Feb. 27, 1966, in Miami, OK.
Survivors include son, Scott (Melissa) David of Tampa, step-children Russ (Mary) Dalke of Castle Rock, CO, Devon (Durrel) Kelley of Derby, Helen (Roger) Hagen of Hillsboro, Kris (Jay) Pschigoda of Hillsboro, sister Darlene Helberg of Colorado Springs, CO, 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
