Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Somi Conveyor, Diamond Power, Modern Threads(India)Ltd., Tarapur Trans and Bharat Highways InvI, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 89.4 points to 22087.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Shyam Telecom, Sanco Industries, Osia Hyper Retail, Mukka Proteins and BGR Energy, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco and L&T were among top gainers, while JSW Steel, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, TCS and Divis Labs traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 204.34 points up at 72966.23 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, Holding Company, Logistics and Cables sectors.
