‘I’m absolutely stunned that we’ve come this far’ – Willie Mullins makes history with 100 Cheltenham wins

It was a historic day at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday after Irish trainer Willie Mullins claimed his 100th victory at the races, the first trainer ever to do so.

The milestone was made all the sweeter because it was his son Patrick Mullins steering Jasmin de Vaux across the finish line in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper. It couldn’t have been more fitting.
