Voyager hires Ferguson as CMO

Voyager Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:VYGR) continued its reinvention as a company developing CNS-penetrant gene therapy capsids with the hiring of Toby Ferguson, who will join as CMO effective March 25. Ferguson, currently VP and head of the neuromuscular development unit of Biogen Inc. (NASDAQ:BIIB), will be Voyager’s first CMO since Omar Khwaja left in 2021 — one of many setbacks that prompted the company to restructure and recruit another Biogen alum, Al Sandrock, to lead a turnaround.
Sofinnova Investments hired Troy Ignelzi as executive adviser. Ignelzi is CFO at Rapport Therapeutics Inc., and was CFO at Karuna Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:KRTX) until last October. ...
