We’ve seen a growing consumer interest in soundbars this decade. The switch to big screen action fuelled by large screen TVs and projectors is also having a ripple effect on the soundbar segment. According to Futuresource, the global soundbar market has been growing steadily. It’s likely to grow from 23.16 million units in sales in 2022 to 26 million by 2025. Another source, Mordor Intelligence suggests that the global soundbar market is likely to hit USD 8.8 billion by the end of 2024 and grow at a CAGR of 8.3% to hit USD 13.12 billion by 2029. Homegrown Indian brand Urban is the latest entrant in the soundbar market and has just launched its Harmonic series of soundbars. It’s the Urban Harmonic 2240 that caught our attention:

Boom box: It comes with a massive 240-Watt output and advanced Dolby Audio Surround Sound Technology. The device features quad speakers and highly effective wireless subwoofers. The Harmonic 2240 delivers an immersive audio experience with deep bass. The balanced sound and dedicated EQ modes add a great dimension to movies, music, and gaming.
Easy controls: The intuitive remote offers a dedicated EQ Mode that allows you to switch modes whether you’re listening to music or watching the latest blockbuster. You also get easy bass and treble controls.
The Urban Harmonic 2240 is available in Black and costs Rs 12,999. Urban has also launched the Urban Harmonic 1120 with a powerful subwoofer and deep bass with dedicated EQ Modes at Rs 9,999.
