Cueva, who works for Brentford as their tactical statistician, has been eyed by Chelsea and looks set to join for next season.

As reported by The Athletic, an agreement has been struck between the two west London clubs for him to move to Stamford Bridge.

The Mexican joined Brentford in 2020 and helped them seal their promotion to the Premier League, with Thomas Frank's side having huge success from set-pieces.

Cueva has been seen as the 'prime candidate' to fulfil such a coaching role at Chelsea following his impact at the Bees.
