An Australian tourist chose a unique way to express his appreciation for his hosts in Maharashtra's Aurangabad. His sarcastic post on X on how poorly he was being treated in India has been winning hearts on social media.

"I’ve been kidnapped by a family of Hindutva extremists based out of Aurangabad, India. Someone call the Australian embassy, please," the tourist who goes by the name Fozzie the Auzzie, wrote on X.

Once you recover from the initial sense of alarm, you see the picture of Fozzie happily posing with an Indian family, read the rest of the post to realise that he meant the exact opposite of what he wrote.

"They keep telling me 'meree patnee ka dosa khao' while the tiny Hindutva children smear my face in ghee. What is wrong with India? Why do they have to be so cruel to white foreigners," Fozzie added.

With this Fozzie joined the bandwagon of people using "What's wrong with India" to share what's right with it after the country received severe backlash on social media following the gangrape of a Spanish woman in Jharkhand.

"It is insane how they are acting as great hosts! Please seek professional help to deal with such cruel post hospitality stress disorder," an X user wrote to Fozzie, to which he responded: "I’m suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Schezwan Dosa)."

When another user commented, "They must hate us so much! You look terribly looked after," Fozzie said: "I’m bloated from all the dosa, they are force-feeding me and I can’t tell them to stop!"

The traveller and geology enthusiast has been sharing glimpses of his experiences in India on his various social media handles and in one Instagram post, he wrote, "Meeting new friends and taking in the breathtaking scenery is Why I love India so much."
