itel has officially unveiled the P55 series of smartphones headlined by the P55 Plus in Kenya. This is the company’s latest smartphone and packs quite the specs.
Itel P55 Plus has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90hz refresh rate and HD+resolution of 720 by 1612 pixels. The screen is slightly interrupted by the punch-hole housing the selfie camera.
You also get a Dynamic bar that allows for distraction-free notifications and interactions.
Itel P55+ is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor paired with 4/8GB RAM AND 128/256GB storage. You get 8GB of virtual RAM as well. You can expand storage with an external microSD as the phone has a slot for it.
The phone ships with Android 13(Go Edition) straight out of the box with itel’s custom UI on top.
For cameras, the itel P55+ has a 50MP main camera with a complementary VGA camera and an 8MP selfie camera.
The phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast Type-C charging(HyperCharge) which means you can top up the phone to 65% in under half an hour. You can also use the 33W Smart Charge tooto extend the overall battery performance.
It comes in Galaxy Blue, Royal Green, and Meteor Purple.
Itel P40 starts selling from Ksh 15,299 at itel’s official retail stores and partner e-commerce platforms.
