Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 443.96 points up at 73946.6 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Vrundavan Plantation(down 12.59 per cent), Filatex Fash(down 11.57 per cent), EP Biocomposites(down 10.57 per cent), Umiya Tubes Ltd.(down 10.20 per cent) and Innovatus Entertain(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 99.7 points up at 22432.35.

On the BSE, Filatex Fash, Best Eastern, Medicamen Bio, Thinkink Picturez and Skipper Ltd(PP)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Hercules Hoists, India Gelatine, Mini Diamonds, Amalgamated Ele and Siddheswari Garments touched their fresh 52-week highs.
