Turkiye’s total turnover index increased by 63.5 per cent year on year (YoY) and by 5.1 per cent month on month (MoM) in January this year, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).The total figure includes the industry, construction, trade and services sectors.
While the index for the industry increased by 58.3 per cent YoY and 4.6 per cent MoM, that for trade rose by 60.7 per cent YoY and 4.7 per cent MoM in the month, Turkstat said in a release.
