Share price of Lupin falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Lupin Ltd. slipped 1.95 per cent to Rs 1642.1 in Tuesday's trade as of 12:07PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1687.35 and low of Rs 1641.7 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 3.49 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:07PM shares and turnover at Rs 0.85 crore around that time.

The stock of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1703.8 and Rs 628.1, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.75.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 47.04 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2023, while overseas investors held 16.11 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 29.58 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5226.78 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2023, up 2.91 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 5078.96 crore and up 20.43 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4340.18 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 613.12 crore, up 299.5 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
