AgenciesNEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 30.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 21.93 crore), Jio Financial Servic(numbers of share traded: 11.11 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 10.54 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 6.54 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 5.00 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.98 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.74 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.37 crore) and South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 4.35 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 3.05 points up at 22335.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 165.32 points at 73667.96.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.37 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 1.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
