Tata Technologies Signs Agreement with Telangana to Establish Skill Centers

Tata Technologies Limited has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to establish “Advanced Technical Skill Training Centres” across 65 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state. According to an official release, the agreement entails Tata Technologies upgrading government ITIs into advanced technology centers. The signing ceremony between the Tata Group company and the state government signifies a collaborative effort to enhance skill development initiatives in Telangana.

During a meeting held at the Secretariat, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, and other officials engaged with representatives from Tata Technologies. The company is set to offer a range of training programs, including nine long-term courses, 23 short-term courses, and bridge courses designed to elevate skill levels.

The project’s implementation is slated to commence in the 2024-2025 academic year, as per the state government’s arrangements. This initiative underscores the commitment of both Tata Technologies and the Telangana government to bolster technical skill development in the region.
