MUMBAI : Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most loved shows on television today.

The daily soap showcases the fourth generation with Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami in the leading roles as Abhira and Armaan. While the current drama showcases some high voltage drama, the recent episodes involved some very interesting costume drama which was loved by the audience.

We got in touch with Samridhii to know more about her experience shooting for the sequence and performing the puppet sequence and in an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, she shared, “This was a completely new experience for me. There were two props that were used, the first one was a Rajasthani outfit and the second was the puppet dance. For the Rajasthani sequence, it was completely unique and enjoyable as I had to transform into a man and wear the moustache and other props.

As for the puppet dance, it was more mechanical dancing and we used resistance bands which was kind of a good workout too (laughs).”

Way to go Samridhii!

For the uninitiated, Samridhii is also an excellent voice artist and she recently dubbed for the English version of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal on Netflix. She dubbed for Tripti Dimri’s character. She took to her social media handle to share a long post on her experience dubbing for the film.
