Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: InterGlobe(Rs. 7282.17 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 233.75 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 129.91 crore), Tata Chemicals(Rs. 112.50 crore), Praveg Comm(Rs. 88.81 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 87.34 crore), NHPC(Rs. 80.01 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 78.52 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 74.86 crore) and YES Bank(Rs. 73.88 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 160.9 points down at 22332.65, while BSE Sensex fell 616.75 points to 73502.64.
In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.58 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 3.25 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.43 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 1.83 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
