Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 11:26AM

Bohra Industries Ltd.(up 4.77%) and Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(up 0.29%) were among the top gainers.

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 4.51%), Aries Agro Ltd.(down 4.47%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 3.53%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(down 3.38%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(down 3.33%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 3.32%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 3.00%), Rama Phosphates Ltd.(down 2.94%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.89%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.85%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 94.75 points down at 22398.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 343.46 points at 73775.93 at around 11:26AM.

Nestle India Ltd.(up 2.15%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.44%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.37%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.18%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.16%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.05%), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.01%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.87%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.76%) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.65%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 3.93%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.36%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.08%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.78%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.66%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.55%), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.18%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.15%), UPL Ltd.(down 1.15%) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.09%) were trading in the red.
