Liverpool fans rage at not getting last-gasp penalty as Jurgen Klopp says it was ‘100 per cent a foul’
Liverpool fans fumed as they were denied a stoppage-time penalty in a dramatic end to their crunch Premier League title showdown with Manchester City.
As the clock ticked down at Anfield, City failed to properly clear their lines from a corner with the score at 1-1 and Jeremy Doku caught Alexis Mac Allister in the chest with his boot.
After a quick check by VAR, referee Michael Oliver waved play on and the result ended in a draw, with Liverpool fans left seething.
Taking to X, one said: "Doku's just kicked Mac Allister in the chest in the 98th minute, and it's not been given as a penalty. Disgrace."
"I don't think you'll see a more blatant penalty than that maybe ever. Incredible. Absolutely f****** robbed," added a second.
A third said: "That’s a stonewall penalty from Doku on Mac Allister, shocking, shocking, shocking call."

"It's as easy as that. It's a penalty for all football people on the planet. If you don't think it is one then maybe you're not a football person."
Mac Allister was fuming with the decision too, as the Liverpool star said: "I think it's a clear penalty, I cannot say much more I think the referee did a good job throughout the game but I think he made a mistake in the last decision."
Liverpool had another corner after the decision but failed to make the most of it, with the game ending in a draw.
City took the lead in the first half when John Stones netted from a close range after a clever delivery from Kevin De Bruyne.
Mac Allister equalised from the spot at the start of the second half after Darwin Nunez was fouled by Ederson, who went off injured.
Doku could have scored the winner moments before he was at the centre of controversy but his low shot came off the post and out.
Following the draw, Liverpool are only behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference, with City just one point adrift in third.
City boss Pep Guardiola admitted his side had survived an onslaught in the second period.
He said: "We spoke at half-time that in this stadium, if you have to defend something, you have to play and play and play.
"We gave away the penalty and, sooner or later, with this stadium, you have 15 or 20 minutes and it looks like a tsunami coming for everybody who has the ball.
"It is not easy but we never stopped trying to play. They had their chances, we had our chances and at the end of the game it (draw) is what happened."
