India has exempted advance authorisation holders and export-oriented units (EOUs) from mandatory quality control orders (QCOs) for imported goods used as raw materials for manufacturing export items.A gazette notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) last week said the exemption will be with pre-import conditions.
