Let's celebrate Women's History Month together! Join us for a book discussion on "Women Who Change the World: Stories from the Fight for Social Justice." The editor of the book, Lynn Lewis, will be with us to delve into the intricacies of gathering the remarkable narratives of nine women who have devoted their lives to the pursuit of social justice, ranging from movement leaders to organizers and cultural workers. Lewis will discuss the power of oral history as a vehicle for generating knowledge and illuminating women's resilience in the quest for a more just world brimming with hope, love, and joy. Rocío Rayo, Director of Transfer Services and Lewis’ daughter, will moderate the conversation. Light refreshments will be served.
