The Humanitarian Award was given to Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani on Saturday at the 71st Miss World Finale held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. The award was given to Nita Ambani in recognition of her noble deeds. To mark the occasion, actor Priyanka Chopra, who clinched the title in 2000, shared a heartfelt video message to praise Nita Ambani.

She addressed the idea of beauty with a purpose in her statement and heaped admiration on Julia Morley, the CEO and chairperson of the Miss World Organization.

Priyanka Chopra said in her tribute to Nita Ambani that she had the honor and privilege of knowing the phenomenal Mrs. Nita Ambani for a few years now. Priyanka said she appreciates and admires Nita Ambani for everything that she does. The Don 2 actor also said she has seen first-hand her passion, commitment, and eye for detail in everything that she does.

The Fashion actor acknowledged the various responsibilities played by Nita Ambani and said, she has consistently brought India’s art and culture to the global stage with the utmost dedication. With a lovely grin and a great deal of compassion, Nita Ambani wears all of these hats and more, she added.

During the occasion, Nita Ambani expressed her gratitude to all the women in attendance in her acceptance speech. For those who are unaware, India hosted the 71st Miss World pageant after a 28-year break. The 24-year-old Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková stole the show as she won the coveted title on March 9th, among a plethora of competitors from over 115 countries.

At the Miss World 2024 pageant, Nita Ambani garnered attention for her exquisite traditional Banarasi Jangala saree as well. She stood out on this important event because of her choice of the newest saree collection, which captivated the crowd.

Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika, released to a mixed review. On its first day, the suspense thriller earned around Rs 14.75 crore. The film had a respectable opening weekend.

Early estimates for Day 2 indicate that Shaitaan earned Rs 18.75 crore, bringing the total amount collected to Rs 33.50 crore. In the Hindi belt, the film’s overall occupancy was 33.65%. It remains to be seen how much income the film makes after its opening weekend.

Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan is a remake of the Gujarati film, Vash. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the movie a U/A certificate just before it was released, recommending a few adjustments.

The story of the film revolves around black magic. The Censor Board requested the filmmakers to include a disclaimer making it clear that the movie does not advocate black magic, according to a report. They also asked for a scream to be used in place of an offensive term.

The film’s final running length was reduced to 132 minutes by the censors, who also demanded that a message about responsible drinking be included and that a bloody sequence to be toned down.

Shaitaan is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak and is presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl. Ajay Devgn and Jyothika plays the role of a married couple in film who are protecting their daughter from the evil, while R Madhavan can be seen playing  the role of the devil incarnate. Earlier, Madhavan and Jyothika starred in the 2001 Tamil film Dumm Dumm Dumm.

The film was released in the theaters on Friday, March 8, 2024. Meanwhile, a special screeing of the film was held on March 7 where the cast members and their families were inviated to see the film. Actor Suriya, who is married to Jyothika, praised his wife by posing in front of the movie poster that showed Jyothika giving a thumbs-up.

Soon after the trailer was released fans flooded the comment section with their appreciation. Taking to thecomment section a user said, the film is going to be a masterpiece. However, there were also a section of users who compared Ajay’s role to Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Chak De India.

Apart from the outstanding performance of Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and renowned Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh will be seen playing a significant roles in Maidaan. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, this film is presented by Zee Studios and Bayview Projects in collaboration with Fresh Lime Films.

Meanwhile, on workfront, Ajay Devgn will be also seen in Singham Again along side Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. While, Priyamani was last seen in Article 370 costarring Yami Gautam and Arun Govil.
