Liverpool fans fumed as they were denied a stoppage-time penalty for Jeremy Doku's apparent kick on Alexis Mac Allister.

As the clock ticked down at Anfield, Manchester City failed to properly clear their lines from a corner with the score at 1-1.

The ball dropped in front of Doku and he made a late move, with the winger appearing to kick Mac Allister in the chest.

After a quick check by VAR, referee Michael Oliver waved play on and the result ended in a draw, with Liverpool fans left seething.

Taking to X, one said: "Doku's just kicked Mac Allister in the chest in the 98th minute, and it's not been given as a penalty. Disgrace."

"I don't think you'll see a more blatant penalty than that maybe ever. Incredible. Absolutely f****** robbed," added a second.
