The Irish have landed, “everyone is out hustling”, and Tinseltown is “pulsating” with kinetic energy — according to producer Ed Guiney, one of the Oscar nominees flying the flag for Ireland in Los ­Angeles tonight.

Guiney, who has been in LA since Monday, gave the Sunday ­Independent an insight into his week in Hollywood as he and his team from Element Pictures prepare to see how their movie Poor Things performs in its 11 category nominations.
