Integrated Community supports Brown Ranch annexation for affordable housing

Integrated Community, a key nonprofit championing the immigrant community in Northwest Colorado, is showing support for the annexation of Brown Ranch in favor of bringing affordable and attainable housing to Steamboat Springs, according to a news release from the organization. The annexation would bring about 420 acres for housing development.

Integrated Community emphasizes that with workforce challenges underscored by an aging population and the exodus of young professionals, affordable housing is crucial. The news release states that collaboration between the city and the YVHA represents a significant step forward, offering a path to success and financial safeguards.
