Tipperary fail to negotiate Treaty’s long-range power despite Jason Forde’s efforts

Limerick found their form after an indifferent first half to inflict a first league defeat on Tipperary at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with Jake Morris’s goal deep in injury-time too late to save Liam Cahill’s side.
Tipperary’s record against Limerick during John Kiely’s reign hasn’t been bounteous, with just two wins from 13 attempts across league and championship. Their most recent league win was already six years in the rear-view mirror, a 2018 semi-final success after extra-time before they lost the final to Kilkenny.
