Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was involved in a calamitous mistake on his return to the line-up to gift Brentford an equaliser.

But thankfully for the Gunners man, his second half saves somewhat made up for the error that he certainly won't want to watch back again.

The Gunners knew a win against their London rivals would see them leapfrog above Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table.

And they looked to be well on their way of claiming all three points when Declan Rice headed home Ben White's pin-point cross low into the bottom left corner.

But then the Bees got back on level terms thanks to Ramsdale's error.

Back in the line-up with David Raya unavailable to face his parent team, the England shot-stopper made a mess after the ball was played back to him by Gabriel Magalhaes.

Unbeknown to him, Yoane Wissa was closing him down and managed to block his kick.

It couldn't have happened at a worse time for Arsenal with the incident coming on the stroke of half-time.
