Ravichandran Ashwin picked up a five-wicket haul to put India on brink of a big win during day of the fifth and final Test against England in Dharamsala on Saturday.
Playing in his 100th Test, Ashwin took 5/64 to leave England tottering on 117/6 in 27 overs on Day 3, with the visitors still needing another 142 runs to avoid the innings defeat.
Veteran Joe Root was unbeaten on 36 off 58 balls.
India could add only four runs to their overnight score to end with 477 in response to England's 218.
The visitors took less than 20 minutes to wrap up India's innings with veteran James Anderson finally getting to the 700-wicket mark. Young off-spinner Shoaib Bashir had Jasprit Bumrah stumped for his second five-wicket haul of his debut series.
England's second innings moved at a rather frenetic pace as the batters mainly resorted to attack the Indian spinners in their bid to survive but failed yet again.
England captain Ben Stokes (2) perished off the final delivery of the session, as the left-hander was bowled through the gate playing down the wrong line against Ashwin.
With Rohit Sharma not taking the field due to a stiff back, Bumrah led the side in the middle besides opening the bowling alondside Ashwin.

Ashwin had leg slip in place for Zak Crawley (0) with the pitch offering a fair amount of turn and bounce. The England opener got an inside edge on to the pads and deflected straight into the hands of Sarfaraz Khan at leg-slip.
Ollie Pope never looked comfortable during his innings of 19 before he top edged the sweep against Ashwin and was caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal at square leg.
Jonny Baristow had a forgettable 100th Test as he hit Ashwin for three sixes before he was trapped leg before wicket by Kuldeep Yadav.
