Letter: Religion doesn’t belong in our secular government

Tony Martinez and his crocodile tears mean nothing. He claims that the “Democrat Religion” is bigotry and we change public policy. Which is our job! What has the Republican Party done for America since Dwight Eisenhower? The “Christian” Republican Party in Eagle County has accepted and promoted a man for president who is facing four criminal indictments in four different cities and has been found liable by a jury for sexual abuse and defamation. Christian?

Many Democrats believe in God. We just do not believe that belongs in our secular government. The Republican Party stands for nothing good. He should weep for that.
