SNAPSHOT: Police K9 unit is a hit with Capital Region BOCES students

Colonie Police K9 officer Eddie was a hit recently with aspiring law enforcers at Capital Region BOCES, including high school seniors Nyaira Peavy and Jayden Slinger. Peavy and Slinger are enrolled in the Criminal Justice program and were part of a presentation recently by Eddie and his partner, Sgt. Michael Clough. The presentation on the training and use of K9 officers was one of dozens by BOCES partners provided throughout the year to the approximately 100 students enrolled in the two-year Criminal Justice program.
