For women working in football, dealing with people who question their ability is something they have always had to deal with.

But as talkSPORT Shebahn Aherne explained, it was something that had made her stronger.

She said: "People who doubt people who are women to work in sport, or be sportspeople - it blows my mind!"

She revealed that some of the best advice she had ever been given was to have a 'thick skin', something which has kept her prepared to deal with setbacks - and to bounce back from them.

She added: “I’m now glad I’ve had all the knocks along the way, like really glad of them because it’s made me more resilient.”

Former Lioness Lianne Sanderson made 50 appearances for England during her decorated career as a footballer.

Now a broadcaster, pundit and the presenter of talkSPORT's Women's Football Show, she is thriving in another role.

It has been a move that has brought difficulties with it too and Sanderson spoke about the online abuse she faces whilst doing her job.

She spoke about how she had even received death thr
