The Infamous Stringdusters to headline Vail’s SpringFree Bluegrass Festival on Memorial Day weekend

SpringFree Bluegrass Festival welcomes The Infamous Stingdusters as the headliner for the 2024 lineup. Accompanying the Stringdusters in Vail from May 24-26 is Bluegrass Generals, Sierra Hull, Jon Stickley Trio, Jeremy Garrett & River Wild, The Rock and Roll Playhouse, and more.

Additionally, Robert Randolph will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the festival. “We are more than stoked to have the Grammy award-winning The Infamous Stringdusters headline SpringFree Bluegrass Festival,” Diane Moudy of Resort Entertainment Group said. “Adding Robert Randolph as Master of Ceremonies, along with his dobro in tow, will certainly create memories that will last a lifetime.”

Families are invited to join the Rock and Roll Playhouse beginning at 11 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Parents and their little ones can boogie down and groove to kid-friendly music in a lively, playful atmosphere. The fun doesn’t stop there — the Kids Zone features bounce houses and other activities to keep the youngsters entertained all weekend long.



Admission to the festival is free to all attendees. Music starts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rock and Roll Playhouse starts at 11 a.m. with main stage music starting at 12 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Music goes until 7:30 p.m. each night.
