Humane society hopes for lucky strike with bowling fundraiser

The Humane Society of Moffat County will host its 9th annual Fur-Ball Fundraiser this Sunday, March 10.

The public bowling fundraiser will take place at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center (990 Industrial Ave.), with a start time of 1:30 p.m.

Registration is strongly encouraged. Registration forms are available on the Humane Society’s website and at the bowling alley. Late registrations will be accommodated if possible.

Teams can include up to four participants. Single bowlers will be matched with incomplete teams.

The $25 per person cost includes two games, shoe rental, and access to a cookie bar and door prizes. A 50/50 drawing will also be held during the event.

Donations of small bags of dry dog- or cat-food for the society’s pet pantry are always appreciated and can be brought to the bowling alley on the day of the event.
