Approval to give Rs 1500 every month to eligible women

In the himachal pradesh cabinet meeting, fulfilling the promise made by the congress Party to the women during the assembly elections- 2022, eligible women aged between 18 years to 59 years will be given Rs 1,500 every month as indira gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi. Approval was given. With this decision, all eligible women of the state above 18 years of age have been brought under monthly pension of Rs 1,500 for life. Two days ago, chief minister Sukhwinder Singh had announced this in a press conference in this regard.

A way out for SMC teachers also

The Sukhu cabinet also discussed the recommendations of the cabinet Sub Committee formed under the chairmanship of education minister Rohit Thakur to look into the issues of SMC teachers and computer teachers. It was decided in the meeting that 2 thousand 401 SMC teachers will be brought on contract basis through limited direct recruitment and they will be regularized and included in government services within the stipulated time period as per the government policy. The cabinet has also approved to fill 985 posts of Lecturer in Computer Science.
