‘I would love to be back, but it’s impossible’ – health staff out of work with long-Covid will have basic pay withdrawn

About 118 health staff who are out of work with long-Covid will no longer be supported by a scheme that has allowed them stay on basic pay.
The Department of Health confirmed the scheme will end on March 31 and the workers will revert to standard sick leave provisions.
