Roy Keane sealed a gleeful return to Instagram and appeared to jokingly hint about a return to management.

The Manchester United legend has been a fan favourite in punditry over recent years, appearing mostly on Sky Sports.

Before taking to the television screen, Keane retired from football in June 2006 and was named Sunderland manager a few weeks later.

He then moved on to Ipswich Town before operating as assistant with Ireland, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

Keane has been out of coaching since 2019 but in his latest Instagram post, he hinted at a potential return.

"DM us if you’re looking to hire a manager," he said, with the caption accompanying a picture of him next to former United teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a boat.

It's the first time Keane has posted on the social media site since April 2022, with his two million followers treated to a fresh picture.
