Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Tata Chemicals(Rs. 6180.64 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 4147.58 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 3565.94 crore), M&M(Rs. 3494.45 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1953.87 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1745.13 crore), RIL(Rs. 1236.29 crore), SBI(Rs. 1222.07 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 1192.89 crore) and TCS(Rs. 1102.18 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 19.5 points up at 22493.55, while BSE Sensex rose 33.4 points to 74119.39.
In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.73 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 3.41 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 3.18 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.11 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.71 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
