Turkish Airlines starts Istanbul-Melbourne flights

Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Türkiye, has started to operate flights to Melbourne, the capital of Victoria State. Melbourne is the airlines’ first destination in the continent of Australia. With this new route, the airline has expanded its operations to six continents, and 346 destinations in 130 countries.

Turkish Airlines will operate three weekly flights to Melbourne, which stands out as the most populated city in Australia, with special introductory prices, via the Singapore Changi International Airport transfer point.

The Australian state of Victoria is home to Australia’s largest Türkiye-born community.

With the flights that will be operated via Singapore transfer point, Turkish Airlines will also hold the distinction of being the sole European airline currently flying to Melbourne Airport.

Turkish Airlines passengers can travel from İstanbul to Melbourne until March 15, 2024, for $1,199 and from Melbourne to İstanbul for $999 by purchasing tickets between until April 15, 2024. The prices applicable under the campaign are the official website fares of Turkish Airlines; however, they may vary at the ticket offices and agencies.
