West Brom defender makes ‘save of the season’ as he gets away with preventing QPR shot on goal-line with his hand

West Brom defender Cedric Kipre somehow got away with making a goal-line save with his hand against QPR.

The Baggies were 2-1 up in the 52nd minute at Loftus Road in a crucial clash at both ends of the Championship table.

Kipre clearly handled to prevent Sam Field scoring, but no penalty was given

QPR piled on the pressure as they tried to get back into the game, winning a penalty for handball against Adam Reach only minutes earlier.

That spot-kick was missed by Michael Frey but it didn't stop the hosts from pushing forward.

After a ball was whipped into the onrushing Sam Field, it looked like they had found an equaliser.

His header looped over West Brom goalkeeper Alex Palmer before Kipre looked to have flicked the ball over the bar with his head from right on the goal line.
