There’s a guy named Rishabh Pant: Rohit Sharma silences England batter on Yashasvi Jaiswal remark
The Indian captain said that there was a guy named Rishabh in our team, probably Duckett hasn’t seen him play.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma silenced the England batter Ben Duckett over his remark on Yashasvi Jaiswal, that “Bazball” style of play should be given credit for encouraging Jaiswal to play the way he has been playing in the series so far.
Addressing the press conference on Wednesday, the Indian captain said that there was a guy named Rishabh in our team, probably Duckett hasn’t seen him play, Sharma said when asked about the statement made by the England batter.
At the conference on the eve of the 5th Test against England in Dharamsala, Rohit had no hesitation in suggesting to the England team, especially Ben Duckett, that they have probably not seen Pant bat, hence such a statement was made.
Yashasvi has come up as India’s top-scoring batter in the series, scoring 655 runs in 4 matches so far at an average of 94.57 and a strike rate of 78.63. Seeing the young India batter deal in boundaries during the Rajkot Test, Duckett had made such a comment and credited Bazball of England for encouraging Yashasvi to play like this.
When the team see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like England should take some credit that they’re playing differently than how other people play Test cricket, Duckett had said.
Duckett’s comment was found deplorable not just by Rohit Sharma but also the former England captain Naseer Hussain, who had blasted the player for his remarks earlier.
Sharma, talking about the series, said that the Indian team’s ability to bounce back from tough situations has been the standout aspect of the side’s performance.
Sharma admitted that England had played better cricket than what they played last time they toured here in 2021 but he was wondering what the true meaning of “Bazball.”
Sharma said that he just doesn’t know what “Bazball” means. He has not seen wild swinging from anyone. England have played better cricket than they were here last time. But he still doesn’t know what Bazball means.
