THE GAME: The Dodgers went into Tuesday night leading MLB in nearly every offensive stat in spring play. But they managed just seven hits and were shut out, 4-0, by the Angels at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz.

HITTING REPORT: Six of the Dodgers’ hits were singles. Jason Heyward had two. Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Austin Gauthier and Chris Okey had one each. Drew Avans had a double. … Shohei Ohtani had reached base in seven consecutive plate appearances before going 0 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts against his former team.

PITCHING REPORT: Right-hander Bobby Miller pitched three scoreless innings in his second spring start. … Daniel Hudson’s spring ERA went up to 4.91 after he allowed a run on two hits and a walk in his inning. … Nabil Crismatt gave up a two-run triple to Nolan Schanuel.
